Nursing Student Scholarships
Ballad Health is here to support nursing students
We're proud to offer RN / LPN scholarships to help students reach their career goals without the added stress of lofty tuition fees.
Scholarship details
To be eligible for a nursing scholarship, you must have been accepted into an accredited RN or LPN program.
Money is granted to students to help pay for the cost of tuition, standard fees and books – minus other scholarships and grants – with the agreement that the student will work for Ballad Health upon graduation. The employment commitment is based on the amount of financial assistance you receive.
Service time begins once you become a Ballad Health full-time team member and have obtained your RN / LPN license.
Student loan assistance program
We also offer a student loan assistance program for new graduate RN / LPN students that are employed with Ballad Health in a full-time position within an acute care or long-term care facility.
The program offers financial assistance for students who are paying off student loans accrued in obtaining their nursing degree.
With this program, you will receive yearly payments until you pay off your student loan balance or reach the maximum amount.

Before submitting your application, make sure that you've gathered the required documentation, including:
- Application
- Book receipts
- Financial aid statement
- Schedule
- Transcript
- Tuition bill statement
- Two letters of reference
- Current team members only need one reference from their manager
