2020 Servant’s Heart Award Winner

Ann is known for going above and beyond in assisting breast cancer patients. She advocates strongly for their care and goes to great lengths to help them in various ways – personally buying supplies and gifts for them, hosting breast cancer survivor brunches, providing community education, helping coordinate the Look Good Feel Better program, organizing the Positively Pink Spa Day and hosting holiday open houses for patients in her own home.

Ann is happiest making sure those around her feel loved and special. At a recent spa day, a patient newly diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer shared how much she wanted to see the Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder concert at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, but wouldn’t be able to attend because of costs associated with her illness. Ann anonymously bought her tickets for the concert and arranged for the patient to be contacted and told that she had won them. It had a tremendous impact on the patient, and very few people even know Ann was behind the gift.

This is typical for Ann Williams; her compassion and kindness always shine through, thanks to her Servant’s Heart.
