The unit consists of 10 private rooms with the latest critical care technology. These rooms are equipped to handle severe breathing problems and traumas.

The PICU is led by pediatric critical care specialists called pediatric intensivists – doctors who specialize in treating patients in intensive care.

Patients in the PICU are cared for by highly specialized and trained team members. Children in the PICU benefit from a high nurse-to-patient ratio, which is determined by the patient’s condition.
