Ballad Health to hold nurse hiring event in Knoxville on Jan. 26
Ballad Health is reaching outside its immediate footprint with a special hiring event in Knoxville for current nursing students, experienced nurses and soon-to-be-graduates.
The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Copper Cellar, located at 1807 Cumberland Ave. in Knoxville. Free food and door prizes will be available during the event, as recruiters will seek to fill all nursing-related positions across Ballad Health’s 21 hospitals and various care sites, including a dedicated children’s hospital.
Representatives from the health system look forward to meeting with prospective team members, whether they have years of nursing experience, just graduated or will be graduating soon. As everyone, from frontline caregivers to those working behind the scenes, serves a crucial role in delivering healthcare, Ballad Health is always searching for the best people to join its team.
Interested applicants should bring their resumes, and both full- and part-time nursing positions are available.
Clinical nurses in Ballad Health’s acute care facilities can take advantage of flexible shifts, including all registered nurse roles, licensed practical nurse roles, nursing assistants/CNAs and behavioral health technicians. Flexible schedules are also available for students working through healthcare degrees, which allows them to gain experience while retaining time for their studies.
Students working on healthcare degrees will also gain access to free certified nurse assistant classes, nurse intern programs and scholarships.
The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, counseling and a flexible spending account.
Other benefits include student loan assistance, sign-on bonuses and competitive pay. New hires will also have access to advancement opportunities through initiatives such as the Professional Achievement of Clinical Excellence (PACE) program and certification pay.
