Looking for ways to assist people in our community affected by Hurricane Helene? The Ballad Health Foundation has four funds created to help our patients, team members and people throughout our region. We also have a text option: text “disasterrelief” to 44834 to make a gift.

Children’s fund
Investments like this aim to improve community health by investing in the health of children and their families through targeted outreach and support programs.
Cardiology
Supporting our heart care services means patients can stay close to home in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia for nationally recognized, award-winning care.
Cancer
The Ballad Health Cancer Patient Assistance Fund helps patients who are experiencing financial distress outside of their medical bills.
Ballad Health Greatest Needs
Helps fill in funding gaps to do things like purchase equipment and supplies, support patient assistance programs and fund renovations.
Patient Assistance
When patients experience financial distress outside of their medical bills, this fund helps provide meal vouchers, transportation, clothing, prescription assistance and more.
Hospice
Provides vital funding to support resources for Ballad Health’s home health and hospice teams, as well as their patients and family members.
Team Member Emergency
Assists Ballad Health team members and their families with emergency health and welfare needs.
Behavioral Health & Substance Use Disorder
Gives support to individuals and their families going through the steps of recovery. Learn more about our behavioral and mental health programs.
Community Health Improvement
The Community Health Improvement Fund helps support Ballad Health’s community health initiatives.
Your donation
The Ballad Health Foundation welcomes any gift – whether it's a 0.15 cent "round up" gift during one of our Children's Miracle Network campaigns, a $1,500 Heroes of Hope gift to our Niswonger Fund or a $1.5 million planned gift to purchase the latest technology for one of our advanced surgical suites.
