Carla Karst
Carla Karst is a dedicated community leader and business professional based in Kingsport, Tennessee. A graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University, she brings extensive experience in community service and a strong business acumen to her roles.
Carla has actively participated in various community organizations, including the Eastman Community Advisory Panel, the Kingsport Public Library Commission, and the Board of Trustees for the William King Museum of Art. Currently, she serves on the Ballad Health Foundation's board and the boards of CCS/SteppenStone Youth Treatment Center, the Kingsport Community Foundation, and the Kingsport Chamber Foundation.
As a principal of LandStar Development, workforcehomesusa.org, and the Edinburgh Group, Carla has played a pivotal role in building and operating successful businesses in the Appalachian Highlands. Her passion for music complements her entrepreneurial spirit; she has been involved in full-time music ministry for over a decade, performing with numerous choirs and at Opryland USA, and has produced nine albums.
